On May 16, 2012, VAPRO executed an international exam for the first batch of Industrial Chemistry International Class from SMTI Yogyakarta. In total 20 SMTI Yogyakarta students followed this international exam, which is compilation of multiple choice questions and assignments related to international standards.
15 students passed the exam and received VAPRO International Certificate Operator A or Operator B. This means the students reached the theoretical part of the final attainment goals of the Dutch and also European Recognized PMLF/VAPRO program Operator A (Operator Level II, CREBO 22058/90311) or Operator B (All-round Operator Level III, CREBO 22059/90012), which means the candidate has (more than) enough theoretical underpinning knowledge in the field of Physics; Chemistry; Mathematics; Process Control; Process Technology; Process Efficiency; Health, Safety, Environment (HSE); Quality Control; Preventive Maintenance; Communication; and so on, to start in a national or international oriented processing or chemical company as an Operator on level Operator A or Operator B.
